Facilitation

Facilitation with me is for groups that need more than a good meeting-they need focused, honest conversation that leads to clear next steps. As a PMP-certified public health and strategy leader, I combine years of cross-functional project work with a calm, structured approach that helps diverse voices move toward shared decisions.
When I first started facilitating multi-partner initiatives, I quickly learned that people rarely disagree on the importance of public health; they get stuck on language, power dynamics, and competing priorities. My facilitation practice grew out of those rooms. Today, I design and guide sessions that help participants name what is really at stake, surface unseen tensions, and translate discussion into action.
My Stakeholder Engagement Facilitation is especially useful for coalitions, boards, cross-sector partners, and community-academic collaborations. I prepare by understanding who is in the room, what history they bring, and what a realistic outcome looks like for this particular gathering. During the session, I use structured questions, small-group work, and plain-language summaries to keep everyone oriented. The goal is simple: people feel heard, decisions are explicit, and responsibilities are clear.
I also provide Workshop Moderation for trainings, retreats, and strategy days. Here, I manage time, energy, and flow so subject-matter experts and participants can stay present. I step in to connect dots, synthesize themes on the spot, and gently realign the group when conversations drift.
All facilitation engagements include a planning conversation and a post-session summary of key themes and agreed actions. Sessions are available virtually or in person, and I adapt formats for students, executive leaders, frontline staff, or mixed audiences. The result is a room that moves from polite updates to meaningful dialogue-and from ideas to coordinated impact.
